We are pleased to feature an excellent group of skating pins from Robert Wagenhoffer's personal collection. Robert Wagenhoffer and Vicki Heasley won the Pairs Silver Medal at the 1979 U.S. Nationals. Robert then became a singles skater and won the Men's Bronze Medal at the 1981 U.S. Nationals and the Men's Silver Medal at the 1982 U.S. Nationals. Robert collected mostly single pins from the clubs and events that he attended and the competitions in which he competed. The majority of the pins are dated from 1975 to 1985 and are in excellent condition. Illustrated pins are marked with an asterisk (*). Collections of this type do not appear on the market frequently and a third of the collection was snapped up by one customer before we could get the the collection ready for sale through our website. If you are interested in acquiring any of these pins we recommend acting quickly, as they will be sold on a first come first served basis.

We are sad to announce that Robert Wagenhoffer passed away on December 13, 1999 after a prolonged illness. The pins on this page were removed from sale from December 1999 until November 2000 and were left on display as a tribute to Robert Wagenhoffer and his outstanding skating accomplishments. The collection has been put back on sale as of November 3, 2000

We are always interested in buying skating pin collections. We also accept skating pin collections on a consignment basis. We typically purchase pin collections at 1/4 to 1/2 of retail depending on how many pins we have in stock on any given item and the condition of the collection. If you can be patient and allow us the time to sell your collection on a consigment basis, we pay 2/3 of the proceeds on all consignment sales.
